Impressions of Australia

With this series of photographs I sought to capture the beauty of this land in a bold and textural way. By using slow shutter speeds, I have used my camera to paint with light. I was inspired by the Australian impressionist painters of the late 19th century, who used bold blues and greens in their depictions of Australian bush and beach life. A selection of these images was recently shown at the Fat Fowl in Bradford-on-Avon.
